After 2-3 days of decanting in the bottle, the wine shows a fine-grained depot and a nice, deep ruby-red and very healthy colour. Its nose needs some aeritation to offer you its interesting flavours of dark fruits like cassis, blackthorne, black-berries and some “smoked” red paprika. Lactical notes like butter and scents of leather are smoothening the bouquet. Fine tannins and a still lively acidity are giving this wine structure and still some more potential for further ageing.
