Recently I have been able again to acquire some bottles of older BDX wines. The dealer told me already in the beginning, that they have been kept in a very cold and humid cellar and therefore the labels suffered (see pictures) but in return the filling levels would be very good. And yes indeed. A wine out of the mid 80’s with a high-fill level is something beautiful but if even a ‘67 is showing no loss then we really can talk about very good storing conditions.
