To console ourselves for the bitter experience with the 1918er (previous post), I went immediately back in our cellar, to get another shot. 1928 – a great vintage. Mid-shoulder – acceptable. Just the source ( a privat auction) has been an element of uncerntainty and again the wine didn’t clarify (it was kept upright and unmoved for over 8 months in the cellar).
